|Longview as seen from Oregon (2006)|
|Longview before 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption|
There are plenty of other sites about Longview, Washington and its sister city Kelso. What you see here is what we know of it from Oregon. The signature of Longview is the Lewis and Clark Bridge and the multiple waterfront industries providing a rich assortment of jobs. Featured in this photo is the Longview Fibre company paper mill, however there are also 2 other papermills and other industrial facilities in Longview which has been the site of major Weyerhauser wood processing facilities since 1929.
Mt. St. Helens is shown in the background. For more on the mountain, click here.
