The photos here present a power hacksaw which is actually a band saw. To speed the cutting and save the blade from overheating, the blade is aggressively cooled with water and soluble oil which is plumbed through the saw guides and caught in the drip pan and recycled.
This saw is of an undetermined age, but has been around for a while.
