Not much is known about this particular saw other than a correspondent has advised that it was manufactured from 1960 to 1962. It's big, rugged -- and very heavy. But note the dainty glass fuel filter!
OMC Corporation once made Evinrude and Johnson outboard motors, Lawnboy lawnmowers, and Pioneer chain saws. Toro bought Lawnboy, and the Swedish Electrolux complex acquired Pioneer and merged it with Partner and Poulan. The latest saws are made in the U.S. and sold under the Poulan brand.
