Wild Daffodil

Narcissus pseudonarcissus

The common daffodil is native to much of Europe and grown in much of the world. It grows from a bulb and the leaves and the bulb are poisonous if eaten by humans. There are many varieties and named species but the one shown is very common.

They bloom in Early spring, and are a welcome site after winter.
