The Oregon Iris is native to western Oregon, and is found in open meadows, often in places where grasses may be growing. It has a parallel veined grass like leaf. Typically it is 6 to 8 inches in height.
The Oregon Iris favors some direct sun as found in a grassy meadow. It does not thrive under ferns or constant shadows.
