Bryce Canyon National Park, famous for its red orange Hoodoos is located in Garfield County, Utah about 20 miles south west of the county seat of Panguitch. It is accessible from the north on State Route 12 which branches east off of highway 89, a major (sort of) north south route within the state of Utah.

It sees about a million visitors a year despite its obscure location in southwestern Utah, although this is considerably less than easily accessible Zion National Park which is but 40 miles or so from St. George, UT, and near Interstate I-15.
