This is a Caterpillar 330 excavator with an aftermarket Feller Buncher modification by Jewell Manufacturing of Portland, OR. It has a special cab, and armor allover the house. They cab hydraulically tilts forward to lower the height for transport, and various lids have hydraulic cylinders to open them so you can access the innards of the machine. The Jewell Boom is a special boom with all the hoses guarded. The cutting head is a Risley rotosaw.
IN may ways this is simply a newer and bigger versions of the Yutani processor featured elsewhere in this section. As a 2002 model it is 13 years newer, and significantly larger.
