Wallowa County is in the far north east of Oregon. You can get there by going north from La Grande, Oregon to Elgin and then East. It is one of Oregon's most remote areas bounded by Hell's Canyon on the east. The agricultural valley includes towns of Wallowa (pop 870), Lostine (pop 250), Enterprise (pop 1,945), and Joseph (pop 1095)
